Thank you for your feedback although we were obviously concerned to read your comments about this hotel and as such we contacted De Normandie to ask for their feedback. They have now replied and asked us to pass on their sincere apologies for the service you received during your stay in the hotel restaurant. They had a number of French students they employed this summer and they have admitted that not all of them spoke fluent English but all were attending intensive English lessons. The hotel have advised that they normally get good reviews regarding their buffet choice but they also thanked us for passing on your feedback so they can monitor standards and make changes with the aim to improve in the future. In fairness we mostly get good feedback for this hotel as they offer very good value for money, however, we appreciate that on this occasion they fell short of their normal standards and for this we too are disappointed.Hoping that you wish to return to Jersey in the future, if you could kindly phone us, we would be very happy to discuss your requirements so that we can possibly assist in offering alternative accommodation which may be better suited to you, if that is what you would prefer.
