I note that you were advised to reject that offer and put forward a counter offer which resulted in you receiving a higher level of compensation than first offered by the Defendant. Having reviewed your file, I note that the value of your claim actually increased after waiting to see how your symptoms settled and undergoing a further medical examination. I note that you accepted the Defendant's first offer to settle your claim and I cannot trace you advising the fee earner that you were unhappy with the outcome of the case or the offer of settlement.
