We are sorry that you were disappointed with your stay at Berth Fedw we have forwarded your comments on to the owners and please see their response below:- On their arrival I did ask them to use water "thoughtfully", I said that we have never had a problem but my neighbours had run out of water as we had not had any rain for 6 weeks and therefore would they use half flush on the toilet, turn off taps when brushing their teeth etc. The shower is a power shower, they obviously didn't pull the power cord which is next to the shower. I do make sure that guests have my mobile number so that they can call me with any questions, although I am around on the farm 90% of the time. They came to the laundry room when I was out there after dark, I did not hear them coming which made me jump! They asked about the washing machine, I merely repeated "the washing machine?" to them as I had not heard. They then said their son had fallen in the mud and got very muddy, I merely asked how muddy as I obviously did not wish to put items caked in mud in the ordinary machine without rinsing them first. As regard to the Wifi, I explained that our phone had been out of order and had just come back on but I was told the broadband might be slow, which is was. I merely explained that it is never as quick as in towns but at the moment it wasn't very good at all. In fact it went again the next day caused by the council cutting through a cable in Talgarth and I have only got it back today. Guests have been using the wifi all summer without problems. But I have no control over BT. I do not understand about the dogs barking at 7am on the Saturday, at 7am on Saturday they were with us on the farm. At 8am on Friday I had just got back from the market then but I do not think that 8am on a farm is unreasonable. I have never known the dogs to howl and no one has ever complained about the dogs barking before. I am sorry that they feel this way but nothing was said to us about anything when they were here, indeed my husband asked the gentleman when he saw him if everything was okay and he replied yes and that they had enjoyed themselves.
