Hi Jonathan, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry your original order of Privet arrived in such poor condition and I completely understand how disappointing this was for you . I can see my colleague has arranged for fresh plants and I hope they are settling into their new home. Privet is a semi-evergreen, which means the plants may lose some or all their leaves during a very chilly winter. In spring lots of new leaves will push through and in the summer they will produce masses of white flowers that will attract lots of butterflies and bees. Looking on our system I can see replacements have been sent to you and I hope they are settling into their new home. Escallonia are gorgeous evergreen plants that during the months of June to October produce masses of white flowers. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon.
