Hi Suzanne, Thanks for your comments. We try to give as much information as we can about our fridges but I understand that that can sometimes get overwhelming. You can always call us and we will be happy to help. Noise is a really hard thing to explain so we try to give a guide. Not all household fridges will be the same noise level either but we have based it on the one we have in our kitchen. All front venting glass door fridges have a condenser fan and an evaporator fan and the evaporator fan runs all the time. With your fridge in your kitchen, it only has a condenser fan so it will come on and off with the compressor. Please give me a call on 03 5337 6399 if I can help you further. Thanks Monique
