Dear Client, thank you for taking your time to provide your feedback. I am happy to read our guide's explanation was interesting and I will certainly forward your positive comments to her. Our tour operates with max 8/9 people per boat. Access to the Grand canal is limited by the authorities to a specific number and type of smaller boats. Apart from the public transport you will not see big boats of tourists passing through the Grand Canal as in order to preserve the heritage and the environment bigger boats are not allowed on the Canal or the minor canals of Venice. On our website you can view a video on the type of boats that we use on the tour: https://www.tours-italy.com/tour/small-group-grand-canal-boat-tour_18. These boats are auhtorized to access the Canal and pass under the Rialto bridge which is one of the main highlights of the tour. There is space on the front and the back of the boat as well as there are seats inside the boat if you want to rest, avoid too much sunlight or rain. Usually on the tour customers are pretty cooperative and switch places between different parts of the boat to take advantage of different views or spots to take pics. Our guides are also helpful in this case and you can always ask the guide for assistance if other passengers are perhaps not that much flexible to switch places. Our rates are in line with what the market offers based on the costs, taxes and other relevant factors. This is a small group tour which offers a more personalized and higher quality experience than a big boat multi-lingual tour with limited access to the sights and a cheaper rate. We do offer special discounts if you book more tours with us and if you ever visit Venice again and would wish to book new tours, do contact us to receive our special discount for a returning customer! Thank you for visiting Venice and helping our sector in this challenging time for tourism.

Dear Client , I’m very sorry for the late reply . I do not know what happened with your booking , as certainly we did try to offer credit vouchers for future travelling . Most companies were utilizing this method that has been approved by Italian government to help tourism industry overcome these difficult times . Most clients accepted our offer as we were giving some benefits and allowing using the credit vouchers for many years to come . Viceversa , to clients not accepting the credit voucher , we were giving the refund . Therefore I’m very sorry for this unpleasant situation and I would happy to offer you a complimentary tour when you come to Venice . Let’s hope we can all be back to a normal life soon and I wish you all the best to you and your family . Best Regards , Monica

Thank you for your feedback! I am pleased the tour was enjoyable and allowed you to visit areas of Venice thar are less known to tourists. Venice is a particular city so ghost and legends tours may differ from what you may experience in UK or Scotland where you visit cemeteries or similar scary locations. On our tours you will hear local legends and ghost stories linked to the long and colorful history of the city. I understand that overall you had a nice experience? Thank you for booking with Avventure!
