We are very sorry for this mistake. We have looked into this for you and the reason for the confusion is that we used to make Sonny with a leather sole. However, we found that as these shoes were for the older boy they wore away very quickly, especially when wet. Therefore the sole is no longer leather, but instead Tunit, which we found to be much more hard wearing and suitable for this shoe. We sincerely apologise again for giving you the incorrect information. Please send us the shoe for a full refund, and we will refund you the cost of postage. We do have the style 'State' which does feature a leather sole if this is something specific you are after.
