Thank you very much for taking the time to add your comments. Unfortunately it is indeed customers who must pay to return goods to us (unless of course they are either incorrect or faulty, in which case we'll happily send you a free returns label). We have considered offering a free returns service, although we don't particularly like the way in which such services are operated because those companies who offer this service aren't actually offering free postage as such; they average out the postage charges that they incurred for the previous year and then incorporate this cost to their business into the prices of their products, which means that a postage charge is paid on each item that is purchased. We however prefer to operate more transparently and so charge you less for goods, but kindly ask that customers pay to return items to us, which means paying to return only the goods that need to be returned, as opposed to paying a small fee on all of the items purchased regardless of whether they need to be returned or not). Once again I would like to thank you for your comments, and hopefully in the future we may offer a free returns policy. Best Wishes Lorraine

Lovely looking designs in the pictures but overpriced in reality. I returned most of my order as the look and feel of the fabrics was quite cheap and the cuts are not flattering for anyone with a curvy shape (although I am only uk size 10). Service very poor as I received no confirmation that my returned order had been received and refund made.

Firstly, thank you very much for the order that you have placed with us recently, although in response to your comments we’re truly sorry to hear that you've been left disappointed with not only our products but the service as well. As this is of course the last thing that we wish to learn of from customers following the receipt of items purchased from Joe Browns. Please do accept our apologies for the dissatisfaction that you’ve evidently felt as a result of the matter at hand. It's disappointing for us too - as we hate to think of ourselves as a supplier of poorly made goods because there’s a lot of work goes into ensuring the quality of the items that you receive from us is up to expectations, and in fact - despite the overall relatively small team that works here at Joe Browns - we now employ a full team of in-house garment technologists. This team is solely dedicated to ensuring that the level of quality is as one expects. In respect to the service level unfortunately at this time we do have the facility to advise when a return has been processed; however we are fully aware that this is a service that I’m sure a lot of Joe Browns customers would appreciate and we are currently looking into this. All your comments have also been passed over to the relevant departments, and I do hope that in the future you will find something that is suitable for you. Thank you for taking the time to let us know your comments on your recently purchased pair of jeans. It is always good to get the different views of all our customers so that we can use these to ensure we are giving our customers the product that they expect. As you have said we do often repeat our products the following year in a different colour, and the reason for this is that our customers love our styles and we are often asked to repeat these. We always aim to please our customers so we thought why not let them have the styles they love and keep it updated and funky by producing the same item but in the latest seasons colours; however we would also hate for our customers such as yourself to feel there is not enough new products also.
