Climbing Rose 'Zephirine Drouhin'

An enduringly popular old-fashioned rose, 'Zephirine Drouhin' is also known as the thornless rose and is one of very few almost thornless climbing roses available.With an exceptionally long flowering season from May to October, you'll be treated to a profusion of large, cup shaped cerise-pink semi-double flowers that carry a powerfully sweet, fruity fragrance that will fill the air around them.A repeat flowering rose, 'Zephirine Drouhin', won't stop flowering until late in the autumn, with its spectacular blooms standing out wonderfully against the foliage, which emerges coppery-red before maturing to glossy, rich green with purple tinged stems. Fabulous growing up a house wall, with the fragrance drifting through open windows, it's happy in the ground or in a large pot and is a vigorous grower. Ideal for covering trellises, arches and pergolas.Supplied as a freshly potted, professional quality plant in a 3L pot, growing to a height of 2.5m and a width of 2m.
