Im thrilled with my lovely postbox, its just what I wanted. Rustic, strong, contemporary and well made. My postman is delighted too as it means he now wont get eaten by my dog ;)
post box was exactly as expected. However it did let the rain in to the box the first day so post in box was soggy. Not sure what to do about that

We're really sorry to hear about your experience on the first day of using it. I can't recall other customers having the same issue, but obviously this sort of problem depends entirely on the positioning of the box and the prevailing wind when it is raining.
I would be surprised if it happened every time, however if it does, can only suggest that you consider a more sheltered position if at all possible?

Box appears to constructed okay but the door is extremely rattly which is essentially due to the hole for the latch being too big. It doesn't pop open but on a windy day the door rattles which is annoying. Maybe for the price I should complain but just needed a little more care in the construction.
The quality of the products were disgraceful. There were 2 different batches, the 1st the doors broke in the middle where they nailed the 2 pieces together I got my money back for the broken letter...
