Good Afternoon! Many thanks for leaving us your review! We really appreciate all feedback. Can you please send us some photographs of your finished pond? Sometimes, the finish on the wood will be darker than expected due to the treatment process the blocks go through. The residue of the treatment will evaporate once constructed and exposed to direct sunlight and take on the golden colour as seen in the photographs. if you have any additional concerns regarding your purchase, please feel free to get in touch with our Admin Team and we will be happy to help.

The wood is generally a darker color, to begin with, due to the treatment process that the wood goes through. Once constructed and exposed to direct sunlight and the elements, this residue will evaporate and the wood will take on the golden color as seen in the photographs.
