The textured dial reveals a different expression as the angle of vision changes, whilst the blue tones of the hands and indices extend the alpine theme.</p> <p>The watch shape takes its cues from the original Seiko ‘Alpinist,’ first launched in 1959 for Japanese ‘Yama-otoko’ mountain men, to be reliable in treacherous terrain.</p> <p>The limited edition ,within the Prospex Land collection, is designed for practicality. It’s powered by the Seiko in-house Automatic 6R movement with highly visible lumibrite on the dial and hands – easy to see in any light – with a power reserve of 70 hours and Sapphire crystal with magnified glass.</p> <p>Prospex is a combination of the words ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications.’ <br />Seiko Prospex watches are designed for sports lovers and adventure seekers in the water, in the sky or on land.
