Hi Janet, Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry that you feel that the mat isn't meeting your expectations. Our Mud Hog mats are designed to scrape mud off your shoes, while they do have little gaps underneath to allow water to drain they are only small and will only drain water slowly. Of course when there is extreme weather water can sit on top which is out of our control I’m afraid. I can see that you have been in touch with us and we are helping you with your mat. Being told to wash a new mat to remove any creases was disappointing to say the least.
