We are also sorry for any confusion, as this trip was never listed as a 5 star experience. The deal is advertised as using 3 star self rated hotels. We can appreciate that in many places the rooms may have been smaller than what you might be used to, this is quite common in Japan. In regards to the bus travel, we understand there are some longer days required to see the things on the itinerary. We are pleased you found the transport to be comfortable, clean and the drivers reliable. There are a number of optional tours that we list on the advertised deal, sometimes, if there is time in the itinerary the guides might also suggest other things that might be of interest to the group. As not all the tours are not offered to all of the groups, we don't advertise them all. We are sorry if this caused any frustration or confusion.
