We are grateful that you chose to journey with us, and we are pleased to hear that you found the trip details to be well documented in advance and that both the Travel Director and Coach Driver conducted themselves professionally throughout your tour. We sincerely regret to learn, however, that several aspects of your experience fell short of expectations. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused by the absence of a structured welcome event. Your suggestion of a first-night meet-and-greet is a thoughtful one, and we appreciate how much more engaging and personal it would have been than the coach introductions you described. We will share this feedback with our Operations Team as we continue refining our guest experience. We are also sorry to hear of the challenges you encountered at The Tower Hotel, particularly the need to manage your own luggage at the end of the trip, which was clearly not a suitable or comfortable arrangement. This, combined with the hotel’s distance from the airport, understandably impacted your final impression. Please accept our apologies for this, and rest assured your comments have been passed on to our Quality Control and Logistics Teams for review. The choice of accommodations is a key part of the experience, and we are disappointed to learn that several hotels did not meet expectations. Your feedback regarding the Durrant House Hotel and the breakfast service in particular is concerning and will be addressed with our supplier partners. While we endeavour to work with hotels that meet regional standards and are well suited for group travel, we recognise the need for more consistent quality and comfort across all properties. Additionally, we regret that you found some portions of the itinerary underwhelming, with too much time spent in smaller town centres and limited points of interest. While some free time is built into the tour to allow guests flexibility to explore at their own pace, we appreciate your view that a better balance of curated activities and independent time could have improved the overall experience. Your comment about the vehicle navigating narrow country roads is also noted. We understand that travelling by coach through rural areas can feel imposing at times, and your remarks will be considered in future planning discussions. On a more positive note, we’re pleased you enjoyed highlights such as The Eden Project, the Plymouth port cruise, and the national park drives—these are indeed special parts of the itinerary, and we’re glad they made a favourable impression.
