Thank you for your feedback. Our topsoil does contain organic matter so the twigs you have found in the topsoil are nothing to worry about. I hope that the turf is settling in well, and that the variation has not caused you too much concern. Turf is a natural product, and some rolls can look different to others upon roll-out, but you should find that this evens out as the turf establishes.
