Thanks for the great review and for the valuable feedback 🙏 Regarding the EPS liner ... we don't inspect the EPS for two reasons: (a) if the shell is damaged the helmet is unsafe for use, and; (b) other than user misuse, if the shell is not damaged it's extremely unlikely the EPS will be damaged. Sure, the EPS can be damaged from the inside, but a visual inspection will be sufficient for this and most retailers will do this for free. Hope that helps. All the best. Martin
