The stepped hosetail also makes it easy to incorporate the ultra-violet clarifier into most systems, including many top brands, unlike other UV units.What comes with the Yamitsu Algae Master UV Filter?The Yamitsu Algae Master UV Filter comes with everything you need in the box, including the quartz sleeve bulb and the unit itself. If you find that the filter is starting to underperform after several months of usage, you can replace the bulb with our range of UV bulbs. Occasionally, pond UV clarifiers can suffer from a quartz sleeve breaking, cracking or shattering.
