The machine is excellent, with its variable timer it allows different finishing textures so you can brown the waffle or have it lighter depending on the ingredients you use.
Waffle irons were better before non-stick was invented. Buttered them up and seared away! However, have no complaints with the Cuisinart as such. The different browning settings is handy.
