I was sent the wrong part despite telling James the model number, so what was a simple transaction took too long to complete.

Sorry for any issue. We believed we were sending the correct part and sent a email prior to despatch confirming the part that we were sending.

The customer returned a non-waterproof scale with a water damaged keypad and a broken power connector and insisted that it was fixed under warranty. We consider this to be unreasonable.

We have checked our stock and have found no rust on any of our test weights. Our weights are stored in individual plastic bags inside individual cardboard boxes. We can only assume that the carrier must have got the weight wet?
