Whilst hotel star ratings are based on the range of facilities and services available, such as restaurants, leisure amenities, and public areas, we recognise that individual preferences and expectations can differ. We also understand your disappointment regarding the lack of air conditioning at the second hotel, particularly given the high temperatures experienced during your stay. In addition, local siesta hours are a longstanding cultural tradition in some destinations and can result in shops and smaller businesses being closed during parts of the afternoon. We appreciate your comments regarding the sun deck. While we understand this was disappointing, there are occasions when access to the sun deck must be restricted due to low bridges and locks along the route. These measures are put in place for the safety of both our guests and crew, which is always our highest priority.
