We started the dog on Renal Special on the advice of our vet. The dog was disenchanted with the kibble he was eating so I decided to do a mixture of Renal Special kibble along with the "loaf"....

I used it because my vet recommended it It works really well. I also used the canned food as well. My fog seemed to like it.

Royal canin make very good renal wet and dry food. My dog has tried both. I would recommend it for anyone who has a dog with kidney disease.

Of the special renal diet foods this is the only one my very fussy old dog likes. He really loves it. He hasn't put on any weight and he hasn't had his blood check to objectively demonstrate it is...

My dog enjoyed it at first but after a while refused to eat it seems a bit solid & uninteresting could do with a bit more moisture in it
