Coatex Essential Fatty Acid Supplement for Pet Skin Conditions. Many essential nutrients have to be supplemented by diet since your pet isn't capable of producing them. One such group is known as Essential Fatty Acids - EFAs. EFA deficient dogs and cats can get dry scaly or itchy skin conditions.
I give this 3 times a week to my dogs as they tend to have dry skin with perfect results. The vet did perscribe daily, but I found this was far too much.
