I personally prepared your bar myself and I know without a single doubt that your bar was despatched with a ball. All jewellery is double-checked by at least two staff at both the preparation and packing stages, making no room for error. After you contacted us to claim that there was no ball, it then transpired that you had already broken the seal on the bag containing the jewellery. This meant that you were not able to provide proof that there was no ball (you could have done this very simply by emailing a photograph to us). You went ahead and broke the seal despite there being a very clear, large message on the seal stating that the jewellery must be checked prior to breaking the seal, and that breaking or tampering with the seal will exclude the item from our 60 Day Returns Guarantee. Your ideal course of action would have been to contact us without breaking the seal on the bag, however because you didn't, we can only assume that you have lost the ball after you opened the sealed bag. As well as complaining because we would not accept the bar back due to it having been opened (the terms of our returns policy are clearly available on our website and we do not compromise the safety of any of our customers by accepting jewellery back which may have been worn) you then complained that the belly bar was "too small". We sent you precisely the size that you requested, which was 6mm. There is so much sizing information and help available on our website yet, even acknowledging that you may have missed that, you still thought it was appropriate to imply that it was our fault that you had ordered the wrong size. On a side note, your claim of "bad communication" from us is completely untrue. You received more emails from us than we have probably sent to any other customer in 14 years. We took a great amount of time to provide reassuring responses and were polite in every single one of our emails. The reason for reassurance was in response to the fact that you failed to notice the numerous, bold pieces of information on the product page which stated that the bar you were ordering was a 'special order' item and thus had a longer despatch date. (As it turned out, you actually only had to wait 12 days for your order to be despatched, which is a very short amount of time when you take into account that our special order despatch dates are normally three months apart.) Normally we would not go into so much detail here on Feefo, however because you have conveniently only provided half of the story (and most of that is untrue) then I thought it was only appropriate that we should provide the true version of events.
