Hi Caroline,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are always looking for ways to enhance the services that we provide to customers and your feedback will assist with this. We do ask a series of health and lifestyle questions to assess your eligibility for cover over the phone, as we do not have access to your medical records to assist in the risk assessment process. The decision whether to provide cover and on what terms takes into account the additional risk factors your answers to the underwriting health and lifestyle questions presents which is based on statistical evidence and a significantly large BMI will result in an increase in premiums.
