Uneven cooking can be caused if the toaster is on the incorrect setting. If you feel that an item is faulty we can arrange for it to be repaired under the warranty.

For a £160+ toaster the Dualit is a pretty poor show. Toast is never toasted evenly, it can burn one corner and leave one half white. the manual suggests never to toast less than 2 slices as it could...
