Thank you for your reply. The delivery method is clearly stated throughout the checkout process. On 3 different occasions you agreed that your premises were suitable for the delivery method in question before being able to checkout. A follow up email was also sent after purchase with an explainer video showing the process and particularly that this delivery method cannot deliver to properties located on slopes.

The driver did particularly well to make this delivery at all as he would have been quite within his rights to refuse the delivery and charge a wasted journey fee due to the slope.

Disappointing review. Jewsons were drafted in to carry out the delivery as there were some issues with our usual delivery network with cuased your initial delay. This meant the product was delivered on a crane vehicle at no extra charge and at the price you were happy to pay.

Thank you for your message. I am afraid there was no smaller vehicle available for your delivery. Any request for delivery by a vehicle other than our standard vehicle needs to be made by telephone and will usually incur an additional charge. We hope you enjoyed our explainer video showing the delivery process though!
