Booked this car park before but had been able to park in what now appears to be short stay car park - had to walk for 10 minutes to entrance. Not suitable for elderly cruisers

Hi Steve, thank you for your feedback, which will prove helpful for other users. There is always the option of dropping off luggage and any passengers at the cruise terminal before parking, if that makes things easier. It is a short walk to the Ocean Terminal. I wonder if you have parked with us before, as we have always been a long-term car park.

Hi Janet, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. However, this review does not really apply to the Triangle car park. You could probably have received a refund from the cruise company to then re-book airport parking, however the Triangle is our only car park therefore we do not have airport parking to offer as an alternative.

We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the parking option you chose. It is important, when cruising from Southampton, to check which terminal your cruise will be leaving from and returning to. There are 4 cruise terminals in Southampton and although we do say it is a short walk, that refers to the Ocean terminal only. It also pays to read other reviews before making a booking, as this advice is repeated continuously.
We advertise two options - park and walk for the Ocean Terminal only and Park and Taxi Transfer for all terminals. It also states on the website that the Park and Walk option is not suitable for the Mayflower, City or QE2 terminals.
We hope that, with this information, you would consider using our facility again in the future.

Was not clear when booking that it was a fair walk. Booked in August and we only had to walk over to the fencing on the side of ncp car park

Hi Colin, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. It says on the website that we are close to the Ocean terminal, within walking distance. It does take approximately 5 minutes to walk, depending on the area you park in, however the distance is measured from the entrance of the Triangle to the terminal. Therefore the quoted time to walk it is accurate.
