Better than a lot of canvas boards I have used, but not as good as a good quality canvas. However, they are much cheaper than the traditional canvases, so that makes them a viable alternative
I think these boards are quite good for the artist who wants easily storable/portable canvases. They provide a solid base to experiment and they're reasonably priced. I can imagine their limitation...
