Hello Emmanuel, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. There is a safety delay on the lock release. The light next to the On-Off button is also a door lock indicator. It is there to tell you whether the washer-dryer is on and if the appliance door can be opened. If the LED is on the appliance door is locked to prevent it from being opened accidental. To avoid damages wait for the LED to flash before you open the appliance door. Thank you, Michayla.
