Can’t take prescribed tablets so tried these. It helps a great deal along with sensible diet! My prescribed tablets caused incredible pain and with arthritis it was just to bad to continue!
Can’t really comment as I also take Atorvastatins as prescribed by doctor, just take plant sterols as a top up.. would suggest taking plant sterols if not on any other medication for example statins.

If you are not on any prescribed medication, plant sterols can be used on their own to help maintain or lower cholesterol levels. For cholesterol maintenance, one tablet daily is recommended, while three tablets daily (2.4 g) are advised to help lower cholesterol
