Great location, great course, fantastic food and very good staff, although understaffed at Golf Club Bar. Requires air conditioning as a matter of urgency, rooms far to hot and very uncomfortable.

Great course, very slow greens due to recent sanding, but imagine they would be very good otherwise.

Accommodation great. Restaurants at both golf courses and hotel not open between 4 & 6pm which is real hassle if finish round hungry after 4pm.

The Occidental has been refurbished to a very high standard. The only minor issue was the number and speed of the lifts at busy times.

Played it a few times and the greens are a bit unfair on front 9 with some of the pin positions back 9 is much fairer
