I’ve played Thorpness a number of times and always a good challenge and a great layout, however the fairways and most of the bunkers were not in great condition.

Beautiful hotel situated in a beautiful location. Good base for access to a variety of gold clubs. Would definitely look to stay at Marine North Berwick again if we play golf in this area again.

There is construction works for a new club house and probably housing. This probably meant we did not see this course at it's best. Would not necessarily put us off going back when all the work is...

Always a tough venue, tree lined fairways, small slope greens. A true test of golf

Overall the course wasn't in the best of condition. Some fairways were patchy, but the huge greens were the true test. They need to give some indication of the pin position, red front, yellow...

The complete brilliant experience. This was our second trip, ten years apart and both booked with Golfbreaks, and it was a fantastic experience both times. A bit expensive but well worth it.

Just an overall great experience, make sure and get the caddy as it really makes the experience

A good warm up for Pebble Beach, Spyglass would be a longer, tougher course

Hotel rooms good if a little compact, staff all great, food excellent, spa good. Only let down is the course set up. Greens were a bit slow the first day but were cut the morning of the second day...
