Expensive beer, but great food and evening locations for socialising with a large group.

Greens well cared for, bunkers not the best with some out of action. Have to play it a few times to really appreciate the course and setting. 5 hour round, every time due to set up.

Nice resort. Expensive drinks as we didn’t want a drinks package. Staff were good. Cleaners were very good. A bit irritating that we each had to pay €20 to extend our rooms for 2 hours.

Course was undergoing extensive tree work which impacted on the fairways and bunkers. Greens were good and fairways were fair.

Good course albeit difficult with many doglegs, excellent fairways and greens. No halfway house or buggy service.

Really nice venue. The two golf courses were very good. The Old Course was very mature and challenging. The Mathern Course, whilst shorter, was a good track with some interesting, challenging holes....

A basic budget hotel, good location, breakfast disappointing.

Great layout and a challenge. Greens consistently good, fairways, bunkers and tees were all well tendered - nice half way hut although the crows seem very adept at stealing food from tops of trolleys!
