Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for your feedback. I have had a look into your concerns and can see the reason for the requote was unfortunately outside of our control, we needed to re-quote your vehicle order as we had entered April and a new tax year, the government had increased the vehicle excise duty (VED). As your quote was initially sent in December 2022, your quote was based on the old road tax values, as the vehicle wasn’t registered until after April 2023 this means we needed to re-quote to include the higher amount. I can see your monthly cost increased by 0.45p. We regret any frustration this may have caused. As per our terms and conditions you signed to accept at point of order, we do make our customers aware of this prior to ordering with us: Vehicle excise duty (VED / road tax) is included for the duration of the contract (if applicable). Please note that if the government changes the VED rates between the point of quotation and registration of the vehicle we will need to provide a revised rental as confirmed by the lender. The lenders terms will always state that any taxation change that impacts the rental will be passed onto the lessee.

Good morning Dawn, I hope you are well. We can see your new vehicle was delivered on the 2nd June 2023 by the supplying dealership. We work with a selected group of supplying dealerships who offer high standards of customer service. I would like to assure you this is not standard practice and I have been in contact with the supplying dealership to express our disappointment. The supplying dealership have asked me to pass on their sincerest apologies for the condition that your new vehicle was delivered in. This has been raised internally to their PDI Centre and transport department. Delivery is carried out by agents in connection with the supplier and in most cases the vehicle will be driven to your address. The delivery driver will aim to deliver a clean vehicle and will usually aim to use a car wash if one is available in the local vicinity of the delivery address. As per our previous communication, the supplying dealership agree to uphold your complaint and apologize for any disappointment this may have caused. In terms of a resolution, The supplying dealership have offered £50.00 for a full interior / exterior valet and this has been accepted. We hope we have been able to address all of your concerns.

Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We highly appreciate your feedback as it will assist us in becoming better at what we do. I have had a look into your deal file and can see your lease vehicle is being funded by a finance company that take the initial rental payment upfront. Most finance companies do take the initial rental 14 days after the vehicle has been delivered however, the company that was used to fund your vehicle takes it prior to delivery. The finance paperwork you complete at the beginning is the proposal form to enable us to get the credit line in place for you, once the credit line is in place and the vehicle is ordered the lender will then need the finance agreement completing prior to delivery. I can see your vehicle order was a factory order, Once you have placed an order with us you can expect a periodic email that will provide an update on the delivery estimate. For factory orders the update will be less regular as there is usually no update on the quoted estimate until further down the line. In cases where the vehicle has been built or where the vehicle is already in stock, we will provide more regular updates as we get closer to the vehicle landing on site at the supplier’s location. However, this should have been explained to you at point of order and this will be discussed in our next board meeting.
