We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback and are glad to see you enjoyed your time in Amritsar. We are however disappointed to see the rest of your time did not meet the standard you had expected for the trip!
We try our best to manage expectations, within the trip notes which do state that accommodation in India is as varied as the country itself, and standards might not always meet those back home, however as you have noted that you’ve travelled to the same destination several times previously, it’s disappointing to read that you have concerns around the cleanliness.
We prefer to use local, smaller properties where possible and most feedback we receive regarding accommodation is that is comfortable, regardless of the accommodation type or its grading, we do expect it to be clean and safe.
Similarly with the trains, most of our customers feedback that they enjoy the chance to engage with local life on these parts of the journey, I appreciate this journey can be somewhat subjective though.
We will continue to monitor feedback we receive regarding these concerns, as we are always open to changes which will improve our customers experiences.
