Your order was intentianally upgraded without additional charge to the Ei146e which is AICO’s updated edition of the EI146RC which has now become obsolete. The new ‘e’ version benefits from enhanced dust compensation so it's less likely false alarm from contamination. Also the Ei146e is more energy efficient than it’s predecessor. More importantly the new units are fully compatible with existing Aico EasiFit bases for easy fitting if you are replacing an old Ei14**RC unit. We have been running both products in tandem on our site until stocks of the ’RC’ version were depleted. We ran out of the old units before your order could be processed and so we have supplied you with the new version. That said if the unit supplied is not suitable, it can be returned to us for a full refund. Please let me know if you would like me to arrange this. The return postage would be on us.
