Although the kettle works, I am unable to open the top so that I may fill it with water. The button keeps sticking and will not open. I would like to return this item… disappointing.

Just like everyone says, the lid doesn't always pop open. I find it doesn't reseat on the base well. It's very plasticy. Personally I hate it but the wife won't take it back!
