Good Points: This is not an A/C unit, so it would be unfair to expect it to cool a room but it will cool the immediate area you are sitting or sleeping.
I have mine situated at the end of my bed...
Good Points: As a fan it works well. And it maybe does cool, a little, if you keep putting fresh ice blocks in (very often).
Improvement Points: Quite noisey, but I can sleep with it on night mode....
Good Points: The air it blows out is cooler, so it's pleasant to sit know front of.
