Thanks for your review. The council is responsible for maintaining the lane and they have run out of money until April apparently. The information pack contains a list of our favourite pubs and restaurants in the area, all of which are open. This includes the clost pub/restaurant 25 minutes walk away. In the winter, many of the more touristic shops are closed.
