Thank you for your feedback, despite the instructions you can use the puck dry, also, if you do want to use oil, you may already have it. We think the puck is an excellent product for sharpening and maintaining the machetes and it's cheap too at £8.40, if we were to add the oil too, then it's more like £12.40.
However, we will look in to adding the oil as an option on the site for those that want t use oil and that do not have any already.
