Thank you for leaving your feedback on FeeFo, it's really valuable for us to hear your opinion on the products we sell. Unfortunately, steel and cast iron chimineas will start to rust once used and/or left left to the elements - there's nothing you can do to prevent this completely. We recommend a cover for the chiminea to reduce the onset of rust. You can also get black stove paint that can be used to keep it looking in tip-top condition. I understand that rust can be unsightly but it will not affect use of the chiminea and, with a little care, you can make sure that your chiminea stays looking good for years to come.
