We have inspected the blinds closely and it looks like the spring mechanisms have been taken out of the blinds' tubes and damaged. Pliers or metal tools have been used on the spring mechanisms. We would never advise something like that as springs are tensioned and can be dangerous. We do understand the blinds are inoperable and we have issued a refund but due to the state of the returned blinds we cannot tell if initially it was a manufacturing fault.
