As you are aware when our parcel couriers, Parcel Force attempted to deliver your order (placed on the 1st and despatched on the 2nd) they were not accepted by a person at the site (Will Thorne Pavilion), despite being despatched by us on a no signature required basis. When the plants were returned to us we contacted you and arranged to despatch the order again. We understand you then experienced further problems with Parcel Force that were only resolved when you contacted your local Parcel Force Depot. It may be an unreasonable assumption but it would seem the Parcel Force drivers involved may not have been very pro-active, as on the second order we included clear instructions that in the event of any difficulty in delivering the order they were to call you. We apologise for the difficulties you experienced and have raised the poor standard of service you received with Parcel Force. Thank you for your feedback. I've looked at the stock on our Nursery this morning from which your plants were selected and can assure you your plants will quickly develop and 'bush out'. We are currently going through a process of updating and adding to our photograph library. Indeed in addition to the photographs on our websites we also provide many customers with photographs of the actual plants we supply to them a service that I will ensure we now promote more strongly. I'm sure you're aware of the need to regularly trim your Leylandii hedge as it develops and it will form an excellent hedge if you do this - if you need any advice on this please call us. Thank you for your feedback that I've discussed with our Operations Manager. We do regularly review our despatch activity and customer feedback sits at the centre of this. Overall we receive few negative comments about our packaging but I will ensure we review again the effectiveness of our boxes and particularly the inserts we use (when necessary) to secure plants in transit. Sometimes but not very often boxes can get damaged in transit and if as a result of this plants are damaged then we will replace then free of charge.
