I apologise for the delay in responding to your feedback. However as you are aware I had already reviewed this matter with my colleague Karen and as a result authorised a refund of £50, that was transferred into the account from which you paid for the Root Ball Plants. Having today read again your exchange of e-mails with Karen I would for the sake of clarification confirm the problem arose in our Despatch Team who sent smaller plants (height) than you ordered. Thank you for your feedback that I have reviewed with our Despatch Team as clearly they did not use 'inserts' we have for all our boxes, that have been designed to secure plants in place whilst in transit. The boxes are handled in a specific way by our couriers Parcel Force to ensure boxes are not 'tipped upside down'. Our measurements of plants are from the point above ground to the top of the plant (or in some species the length of the stems where there is vertical growth). I have also reviewed with our Nursery Team your comments about the appearance of one of the plants - their focus is generally more targetted at the health of the plant than cleaning away any moss that may be present as this can benefit the plant by helping retain moisture.
