Thank you for your feedback. It is clear when packing your order our Despatch Team did not use inserts in the boxes that secure the plants during transit. I have provided details of your comaplaint to our Carriers Parcel Force as they should not have handled the box in a manner that would 'upturn' the pots. The majority of plants do suffer some winter damage. This year the fluctuation in temperatures since the begining of the year (including some un-seasonally warm periods)has caused some damage to plants and disrupted their growth patterns (hence some of our stock being at the lower end of the height ranges we supply). Also for Photinia and some other species the height of the plant is measured when the main stem is tied to a cane.In addition young Photinia plants are easily damaged but will recover if carefully treated. I'd suggest if you have not already done so that you apply a nutrient to the plants and of course keep them well watered until they are clearly prospering. In recognition of your complaint I have asked our Despatch Team to forward you some Seaweed Bio-Stimulant that you will be able to apply to the Photinia and use also on other plants.
