The classic British dessert plum. RHS Agm. Self fertile & heavy cropping in Aug-Sept. Sold as a normal, bareroot or pot grown, dwarf tree. Half Standard size fruit trees have a clear stem of 1.2 - 1.3m before they branch out. They are much better suited to a garden than a full standard: tall enough to easily mow underneath, short enough to harvest & prune safely from a step ladder.
