Due to excessive time parcels take by surface mail, we have decided not to offer this as a option. Airmail has proved very efficient and quite speedy, even across to Australia and New Zealand. Due to very wide variety of items we send, from single pairs of socks, to multiple pairs of Jeans etc. Weight of parcels can very wildly. This makes pre-quoting prices very difficult. As a mid point we have a default charge for overseas orders of £18. For smaller orders, we refund any excess, and for heavier, or Multi packs we charge any excess, but only after confirming with our customers. Every airmail parcel is charged for at actual cost. We feel this is the fairest system. We do not intend to make a profit out of shipping charges, and aim our prices to be as accurate as possible. Mike Reynolds

Very sorry you find the sock fitting too small. We have been selling these ranges from HJ Hall for over 25 years and find they are normally a good fit as described. It is just possible that your pairs have been incorrectly packed and labelled at the factory. We would appreciate it, if you would return the offending socks, so we can return them the HJ Hall for checking and their comments. Your return postage would be refunded of course. Bear in mind that the sizes quoted are actual shoe sizes. If you suffer from swollen ankles etc this could cause problems with the fittings. Mike Reynolds
