Initially you were misled by another company and thereafter agreed to go with us and as a gesture of goodwill we even increased our offer by £1000.
Prior to any commitment or solicitors being instructed like any buyer we have to conducts surveys including Royal Institute of chartered surveyors valuations and thereafter we provided you with a price after these surveys.
You decided to go with another company and after your experience some 2 weeks into the transaction with them you agreed to sell to us, so to clarify we did not reduce the price. We provided you with a price after surveys, you decided to go elsewhere, you then came back and accepted the price and we even increased the price as gesture of good will by £1000.
The delay on the transaction was due to the other company putting a charge on your house so we had to move very quickly to meet your expectations in terms of completion despite it not being our fault.In regard to solicitors fees, we explained, we only pay if you use an established panel solicitor, however you already had chosen a solicitor who was acting for you and thus decided to stick with them.
We're sorry if you feel this way but please also note we did as we said, increased the offer for you as well as stepped in last minute due to the bad experience you had with the other party. Given it was close to Christmas and we had plentiful completions we still delivered for you.
