Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I am so sorry your Hawthorn arrived in such poor condition, so thank you for being so understanding and for still leaving such a lovely review. As discussed on our call I have arranged for another Hawthorn to be sent out to you, and this way you will have a healthy plan in your garden. Hawthorn is a native, deciduous species, so your plants will have lost their leaves during winter, but they will now have burst back into leaf and will have flowered and will eventually produce berries. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. Once again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused. I hope your Dog Rose are now settling into their new home. Dog Rose is a hardy, native plant. As it is deciduous it will have lost its leaves over autumn/winter, and in spring you will see lots of healthy green leaves push through and in summer they will produce pink and white flowers that will attract lots of butterflies 🦋 and bees 🐝 and after flowering you will see rosehip fruits appear that will feed lots of hungry birds 🐦. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. The plants hold onto these leaves and now the growing season has begun lots of healthy green leaves will have pushed through. Your Laurels will knit together to create a beautiful dense evergreen hedge. During the spring they produce tiny white flowers that are popular with butterflies and bees and during winter they produce small red berries that hungry birds love.
